First Aid Training Course - First Aid at Work
Acorn's course is aimed at any member of staff who is required to become a qualified ‘First Aider’ in their workplace, such as civic buildings, offices, schools or leisure centres.

| Course Objective | Participants will develop the skills necessary to become a competent and confident First Aider in their work place and will be awarded a ‘FAAW’ certificate, valid for 3 years |

At the end of this course the participant will undertake a theory and practical assessment carried out by independent assessors. They will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the theoretical and practical aspects of unconsciousness, resuscitation and the control of bleeding. |
