Course Objective Provide awareness of the harmful effects of asbestos on health

Understand the legislation regarding exposure to asbestos fibres

Recognise the type of common materials/equipment which may contain asbestos

Gain the necessary information and instruction on what to do if asbestos is accidently discovered

Provide an overview of how asbestos should be managed in buildings – from the building owners and the contractor’s perspective.
