So here we are, a year on.
Like so many of our customers in the last year, we’ve improvised, adapted and overcome a significant number of challenges, both as a business and individuals.2020/21 has definitely brought out the best in so many people and we look forward to the next year with a renewed sense of confidence and optimism.
To our customers, your continued support and trust in Acorn has helped us thorough the most difficult time in our twenty year history, but we are still here, with perhaps just a few more (longer) grey hairs than previously.
To those attending our courses, thank you for your patience, co-operation, and understanding. For turning up, following the rules and allowing us to continue to deliver essential face to face and live streamed training for those essential businesses and organisations including the NHS, Education, social Care providers and the 100’s of SME’s we work with every year.
To our suppliers, and subcontractors, you’ve been there when we’ve needed you, and responded to some bizarre and unusual requests as we adapt to a new and different way of working.
To our staff team, we simply couldn’t have done it without you, you’ve been amazing!
Together we are stronger, something the past year has proven time and time again.
Whilst we’ve clearly some way to go, we are now heading in the right direction and we will get there.
In the last few weeks we are delighted to have been awarded not one but three new contracts;
- Health and safety consultancy for a national agricultural innovation centre
- First aid first response training for Girl Guiding volunteers
- Paediatric first aid training for a new Local Authority client.
