….ISO 9001:2008 and CHAS Accreditation Achieved
Quality is an integral part of our business – as a Health and Safety Training and Consultancy provider people’s lives may depend on the advice and the service that we provide.
ISO 9001:2008 is a recognised mark of quality for business – it specifies requirements for a quality management system which aims to enhance customer satisfaction and drives processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable requirements.
To achieve this, a business needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, achieved through the effective application of the system.
At Acorn Health and Safety we continually strive to improve our systems and services to meet and exceed our client’s requirements – we regularly review and audit our own systems with a view to improving the quality of our products and services.
We’re pleased to announce that in August we had our fourth annual audit, which we passed.
That’s not all….Acorn is now also CHAS accredited.
CHAS is one of the founder members of the Safety Schemes in Procurement Forum (SSIP) and was achieved by Acorn’s Nigel Braybrooke.
Over the year’s we have helped many clients achieve CHAS – in fact we’ve helped clients achieve a whole range of accreditations including; Exor, Safe Contractor, SMAS, Construction Line and Altius.
We felt it was about time we did the same ourselves – having recently joined the consultants team at Acorn we set Nigel the task of getting it, something he achieved first time and in just under two weeks – well done Nigel!
Of course, health and safety in construction isn’t just about helping clients achieve SSIP accreditation, although businesses benefit significantly when they do – see a testimonial on this here
