Subject to Parliamentary approval, the revised Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) will come into force on 6 April 2015.

The draft Legal (l) Series Guidance has been made available before the regulations come into force to assist those with duties under the regulations and to help them understand and prepare in advance.

The draft guidance may be subject to change while the regulations are awaiting Parliamentary approval, that said, duty holders should familiarise themselves with the main requirements before they come into force.

For CDM 2015 duty holders six guidance documents for clients, contractors, designers, principal contractors, principal designers and workers have been published and are all free to download.

If you are currently, or are likely to be, a duty holder, it is recommended you download and read the appropriate guidance well before April.
