Introduction

Over the past month we’ve supported many businesses as they ‘adjust’ to the new normal.  Some employers are actively increasing home working capability for employees, others (both employers and staff) are keen to return to their usual place of work.  It’s a completely mixed bag and there is no right of wrong answer. We should, however; base our decisions on current government guidance, consult with employees and made decisions that are right for individual businesses and their staff teams.

We would like to re-affirm that we are very much still continuing to support businesses. We’ve been here throughout the pandemic, providing training to key workers and the NHS, and will continue to support businesses keep their staff (and others) safe at this time.  Whether you have an identified need for face to face training, are exploring on-line training opportunities or require support with COVID-19 risk assessments and audits, we are here to help.

As a business we are ‘COVID-19 Secure’.  We have carried out a risk assessment and published the results which you can view HERE, we have also created the Covid 19 Training Information document to help you make an informed decision about what is right for your business / organisation and staff team at this time. Both of these documents are under regular review.

Like many businesses, COVID-19, has and continues to have, a significant impact on our business. However, we are holding our heads high, focusing on the future and adapting well to the new normal.  We are truly grateful for your support, encouragement and kind words.  Thank you.

Training

Live Streamed Training:
Our on-line ‘live streamed’ training courses have been well received and achieved some fantastic levels of interaction with delegates, it’s still us but just a different way of doing things!  We are currently scheduling live streamed courses on a month by month basis, if you’ve previously booked on a course that’s now live streamed, we’ll automatically transfer your place across and get in contact with you to confirm this.

E-Learning:
Our e-learning course offering of over 50 courses (for individuals to complete at their pace) has grown significantly in popularity.

Face to Face Learning:
We are continuing to provide face to face training courses for individuals and on customers premises where this is essential for the safe running of businesses.  The definition of ‘essential’ is something that is changing regularly as more businesses prepare to open their doors with new and altered staff teams, and ways of working.  Typically, our face to face courses include the provision of ‘accredited first aid training course programmes’ and ‘people handling training’ where participation in practical skills is an essential part of learning and cannot safely, effectively, or responsibly provided in another way, for example where legislation requires it, or it contradicts current published guidance.  It is important to us that you do the right thing for your business, staff, customers and in the case of the health and social care sector those you support.  We’ll happily support you make the right decision for your business.

If you require further clarification on any of the above, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We are here to help.
