Scaffold Inspection Training – HS16
Our Scaffold Inspection Training course is aimed at supervisors and managers who are designated as the competent person, responsible for the safety of scaffold structures and have a statutory responsibility for carrying out the safety inspections of scaffolding equipment.

How do we approach scaffold inspection training?
Our course programme employs a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of individual delegates and includes the following:
- Legislation and regulations, including the Work at Height Regulations
- Practical exercises with specially built training scaffold
- Roles of a scaffold inspector and scaffold inspection in practice
- Industry performance standards
- Approved codes of practice
- How to conduct a risk assessment
- Maintenance and the correct and safe storage of equipment
- Personal safety and available personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Carrying out equipment inspection
- Inspection checklists, registers and the scaffolding tag system
- AV presentation ‘satisfied it’s Safe’
- Practical exercises

This course is of 6 hours (one day) duration.
What should you expect from Acorn Health & Safety?
We’ll provide delegates with a variety of printed course materials including workbooks and handouts. On successful completion of this course delegates will receive a printed courses certificate and ID card.
