You are hopefully aware that one of the biggest changes to UK data privacy law comes into effect on 25th May 2018.
The General Data Protection Regulation (or GDPR for short) is a really positive step towards you having more control over how your data is used and how you’re contacted. The changes will also help to better protect your personal data.
Under these regulations, companies must adhere to a new framework that creates consistent data protection rules across the EU. All businesses who process personal data about individuals in the EU must comply with the GDPR or risk strict penalties.
Our internal GDPR preparations are well underway and we would like to keep you up to date on a number of items from us, however to do this, we need your permission to make sure that you still want to hear from us and that we can hold your data so we will soon be asking you to confirm with us how and if you would like to be contacted
