First aid training is one of those skills that is genuinely transferable and if the need arises can be put to use anywhere. We frequently have people attending first aid renewal courses saying they have used the skills learnt more outside of work than they have at work.
With Acorn we offer a wide variety of first aid courses which are either delivered at our training centre in Warmley or at a location of your choice. The courses we run at our centre enable smaller organisations or individuals to book on to these can be booked either over the phone or directly though our website. These courses include one day Emergency First Aid at Work, 3 day First Aid at Work or one of our 2 day Paediatric First Aid courses.
In addition to these courses we can also offer some more bespoke options run at a venue of your choice. These can include Basic Life Support, AED and Anaphylaxis training, First Aid in the Outdoors for Children, Combined Paediatric, Child, and Adult courses. We are happy to discuss your individual requirements to enable you to meet your actual needs.
At Acorn we are committed to providing quality training that is also practical and interesting. All of our trainers have provided First Aid in the real world and look to bring this experience in to our courses. We also ensure that we have enough equipment to enable all participants have plenty of opportunities to practise their skills. With our bespoke courses we can look to tailor what is included to match your needs whether that is for specific age groups or injuries such as catastrophic bleeds.
