iosh approved training providerAcorn Health & Safety Ltd. are an IOSH approved training provider and proud of our association with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the world’s largest health and safety organisation.

Our one-day IOSH working safely course is aimed at workers from all types of workplace and covers health and safety basics in an easy to understand, interactive style.

Customers select this course in order to ensure a good knowledge of health and safety requirements is achieved throughout the workforce. The course can also serve as an ideal induction course for newly appointed employees.

Our four-day IOSH managing safely course programme is aimed at those responsible as a manager or supervisor for safety within their workplace and includes an introduction to managing safety, hazard identification, risk assessment, controlling risks, investigating accidents and incidents and measuring health and safety performance.

Our IOSH courses are delivered by approved industry-experienced instructors who pride themselves in their ability to include and accommodate delegates from all business sectors, by actively seeking to promote discussion, participation and sharing of real life experiences to enhance the course content and training experience for all course delegates.

Our customers’ businesses ultimately benefit from enhanced hazard identification and risk assessment ability, increased employee involvement to improve workplace safety, enhanced reputation within the supply chain, and, should an accident happen, a clear structured approach ensures a thorough unbiased investigation can be undertaken resulting in appropriate corrective and preventative actions.

We frequently provide these courses at our training facility in Bristol, and can also deliver the courses at customer’s premises, where suitable training facilities exist, with courses being tailored to suit the customers’ business requirements.

All course delegates are provided with an IOSH workbook to keep for future reference, in which they can make notes relevant to the course content and specific to their workplace.Anchor
