Acorn Health and Safety e learning online trainingThe same familiar training faces and fantastic levels of interaction but delivered a little differently to help keep everyone safe.

During the start of the pandemic, we started to adapt our courses to be Live Streamed instead of face-to-face training, We now offer 12 of our courses this way which have now been included in our standard portfolio of training.

These courses have been extremely well received by customers, achieving the same levels of engagement and interaction we would ordinarily expect in the classroom environment. Live training achieves good communication and interaction with delegates through the power of face-to-face contact that builds trust, triggers emotion and captures a memorable tone and style while communicating the essence of the learning content.

Live streamed ‘zoom’ courses are perfect for groups and individuals, and E-learning is perfect for individuals to learn at their own pace.  Courses can easily be adapted to meet the individual needs of, and delivered to, entire staff teams.

Our main platform for delivery is ‘Zoom’, however we are also delivering using Microsoft Teams and similar video conferencing solutions. We have taken the necessary steps to ensure data security using these platforms, including seeking external advice from our IT provider.
Our live streamed courses include:

If there is a course in particular you would like us to try and adapt to Live streamed, please contact us to discuss it.

With the exception of our first aid courses and those involving people handling, all of these courses are fully ‘live streamed’ by our established team of consultants and trainers using a variety of techniques including presentation, breakout groups, Q+A and completion of worksheets.

Manual Handling courses involving ‘people handling’, and our first aid training course programmes accredited by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are not permitted to be delivered solely on-line, contrary to what some providers might advertise. Delegates attending these courses must be able to demonstrate competence and have the opportunity to practice a number of key skills in the classroom.

This is facilitated with reduced course numbers and stringent risk assessment and hygiene protocols in place, you can find out more about these here

As always, these courses can also be provided for staff teams which can typically accommodate up to 12 delegates, and in many cases be altered to meet any individual needs you might have, please contact us for more information.

Our ever-growing portfolio is regularly updated online with changing regulations and legislation.
