On the 11th May, the government produced a series of eight guides covering a range of different workplaces to ensure they are as safe as possible.

We have completed a COVID-19 risk assessment which covers our day to day business activities which is available to view HERE

We recognise that some staff members and employers may be anxious about attending face to face training. The information attached HERE provides a summary of the steps we are taking to ensure the continuation of training delivery, whilst at the same time mitigating the risk of the spread of COVID19.

We are also now running a Covid Secure course which includes:

• Practical tips for staying safe and why they might work
• Fact vs myths
• Questions you should ask before you go somewhere new
• What you should reasonably expect – from work / from venues
• How it transmits
• How you can reduce transmission
• The balance between fear and control
• Risks for different groups of people
• Staff briefing on your COVID Secure arrangements

The Government are also now asking that all employers display the ‘COVID-19 Secure in 2020’ poster which confirms you have complied with the five essential steps for safer working together, of which we have done:

– We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared our findings
– We have cleaning, hand washing and hygiene procedures in place in line with guidance
– We have taken all reasonable steps to help people work from home
– We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace
– Where people cannot be 2m apart we have done everything practical to manage the transmission risk
