All assessments are undertaken by qualified health and safety professionals who offer independent, impartial comment. Photographs are taken where there are areas of concern.

How do we support landlords with fire risk assessments?
After an initial conversation where we will explore your needs, we’ll provide a fixed price quotation before visiting the premises to undertake a fire risk assessment. Visits to properties can be accompanied, alternatively we’ll make the necessary arrangements to gain access. In most cases, there is no need to gain access to domestic tenant occupied areas of a property.
As part of the assessment we’ll examine a number of documents such as servicing, maintenance and electrical safety records. Alternatively, if these aren’t available we ask clients to review and sign a declaration that necessary checks and tests are in place.
What should you expect from Acorn Health & Safety?
Within a few days, you’ll receive a copy of your fire risk assessment which will include a number of photographs and where necessary an action plan containing recommendations we advise that you take to comply with your statutory duties and best practice.
We will assign you a dedicated and competent health and safety professional who will gain an understanding of your needs and be on hand to provide any help, advice or comment you need.
Any documentation produced will either be uploaded to our cloud based storage system provided electronically, or as a hard copy in the required format. Following any piece of consultancy work we are available by phone or on e-mail, so you can contact us easily, if you need our assistance or further advice.
