Unfortunately, we are often only approached when access to a site has been denied or contractors have been placed on stop pending completion of a supplier application.
If you have already received requests from your clients, for documents and information in support of an approved supplier application, in our experience they tend not to go away and you will be asked to complete them, before you can commence work, or apply for tenders.

How do we support customers with client questionnaires?
We will review supplier questionnaires and provide general comment/advice on completing responses to health and safety related questions. This can often be done electronically, or if you prefer, a face to face meeting can be arranged. Where clients struggle to complete responses owing to a lack of evidence being available, we can provide a wide variety of forms, templates and written procedures to support applications.
In some cases, we might recommend ‘Hassle Free’ our retained health and safety consultancy service or suggest clients consider applying for SSIP Accreditation such as CHAS, EXOR, SMAS or Safe Contractor. Applying for and being awarded an SSIP Accreditation can sometimes negate the need to complete supplier questionnaires or at least help considerably with their completion.
What should you expect from Acorn Health & Safety?
The information we provide will be based on our experience of supporting a wide variety of businesses and organisations. We will either complete relevant sections of a questionnaire on your behalf or, alternatively provide responses to questions for you to use.
We will assign you a dedicated and competent health and safety professional who will gain an understanding of your needs and be on hand to provide any help, advice or comment you need.
Any documentation produced will either be uploaded to our cloud based storage system, provided electronically, or as a hard copy in the required format. Following any piece of consultancy work we are available by phone or on e-mail, so you can contact us easily, if you need our assistance or further advice.
