How do we undertake risk assessments?

We’ll arrange a convenient time to carry out the assessment/s and generally complete this using one of our risk assessment document templates or your own documentation should you prefer. In most cases, we’ll require addition information and will happily liaise with others as required.  This might include staff, human resource and training managers and others within your workplace.

The way in which the assessment is undertaken will vary depending on the type, in most cases this will involve a site visit, review of working practices/activities/equipment and a conversation with those involved.

What should you expect from Acorn Health & Safety?

We will assign you a dedicated and competent health and safety professional who will gain an understanding of your needs and be on hand to provide help and advice or comment you need.

Following the assessment, we will provide you with an electronic copy of your assessment/s and where required comment further on any steps that might need to be taken or are advised to reduce risk to the lowest level.

Any documentation produced will either be uploaded to our cloud based storage system provided electronically, or as a hard copy in the required format.  Following any piece of consultancy work we are available by phone or on e-mail, so you can contact us easily, if you need our assistance or further advice.
