This one day annual update course is for any delegate who has attended our 6 day moving and handling train the trainer course (or similar highly regarded trainer’s qualification) that requires annual updating to update on new practices and legislation.

This course, undertaken annually, is designed to update past delegates of the West of England Moving and Handling Trainers, and similar courses, including our 6 day Train the Trainer Foundation. On successful completion delegates are awarded a Manual Handling Trainers Update Certificate.

Established over 20 years ago and highly regarded amongst the health and social care community, the Train the Trainer course is regularly attended by occupational therapists, registered nurses, care managers, health and safety professionals, care supervisors, owner managers and equipment manufacturers.

This course is delivered by our Director, Sarah, who is also a Registered Nurse and Advanced Handling Practitioner with over fifteen years experience in people handling and has many years of practical experience and in addition to training can provide support and guidance on risk assessment, policy development and complex handling

How do we approach the manual handling trainers annual update course?
