Manual Handling Load Training Course – MH03
Our manual handling load course is aimed at support staff whose main role involves handling a variety of inanimate objects in the workplace. This course can be adapted to cover specific tasks such as pushing, pulling, transporting and supporting or a variety of loads.

How do we approach manual handling?
Our course programme employs a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of individual delegates and includes the following:
- Predisposing factors of musculoskeletal injuries
- Postural awareness and static loading
- Spinal awareness
- Principles of safer handling
- Risk assessment
- Unsafe practices
- Team handling

This course is of 3 hours (half day) duration
