How do we approach anaphylaxis training?

Our anaphylaxis training (often referred to as allergy training) course programme employs a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of individual delegates. It is also suitable for staff working with children who may need to treat allergic reactions in schools. The course content includes the following:

  • Recognise signs and symptoms of an allergic reaction
  • Treat anaphylaxis appropriately
  • Use an Adrenalin auto-injection (AAI) device correctly
  • Administer intramuscular adrenaline 1:1000
  • Understand follow up management and treatment

This course is of 1 hours duration.
