We believe that health and safety can be and should be, ‘Hassle Free’ so you can focus on what you and your organisation does best.
The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations require employers to appoint one or more competent persons to assist with health and safety measures. Our consultants work hand in hand with a wide variety of trades businesses and their teams providing as much, or as little advice as is required to keep you on the right side of the law.
In addition to accessing competent health and safety advice, you’ll also benefit from:
- Preparation of a written health and safety policy and an annual review
- A suite of documents, forms and templates with your company logo on
- Use of our on-line portal where all your documents can be accessed, stored and reviewed

What should you expect from Acorn Health & Safety?
We will assign you a dedicated and competent health and safety professional who will gain an understanding of your needs and be on hand to provide help and advice or comment you need.

How much does ‘Hassle Free’ cost?
Hassle Free costs from just £105 per month (excluding vat) and includes everything listed under ‘what’s included’. We ask our clients to commit for a period of one year, after which we ask that a month’s written notice be provided if you wish to cancel the service.
How do we support with SSIP scheme accreditations?
We provide full support with one scheme. We’ll help you gain and maintain SSIP approval with the likes of CHAS, EXOR, Construction Line, FASET, SafeContractor, SMAS and Acclaim. We’ve extensive experience in this area, create all documentation with this in mind and importantly fulfil the role of ‘competent safety advisors’.
Who owns the documentation produced?
You do, it’s yours and you’ve paid for it. We don’t copyright our forms nor lock everything down in PDF’s. We’ll happily provide original documents in word/excel on request. Where we use PDF’s (for example fire risk assessments and policies) we’ll happily update content as required.
Are there any hidden costs?
If any additional work is required or advised in addition to ‘Hassle Free’ such as a fire risk assessment or support with additional SSIP accreditations we’ll will always discuss this with you first and provide a separate quotation.
