Our FREE 2 hour infant and child resuscitation course is back on the 8th December! It’s been nearly 2 years since we last hosted this event.
The course takes place at our premises in Warmley, Bristol and is open to ANYONE (mum’s, dad’s, grandparents, groups of friends….) interested in learning these valuable and potentially lifesaving skills. All we ask for in return is a £5 donation to MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association)
Within the last few years, Acorn lost a family member to Motor Neurone Disease. Since that day, as a company, we want to do everything we can to raise as much money as possible to go towards future research in the hope to find a cure.
We have limited spaces on each course, and to secure your place all you have to do is donate £5 to The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) via our Just Giving page. Please make sure you do not donate anonymously if you want to attend the course as we will not be able to reserve your space without your details.
Owing to the practical nature of this course a basic level of general fitness is required. Delegates must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline. Should you have any questions relating to the accessibility of this course please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
The course programme employs a variety of teaching techniques to meet the needs of individual delegates and includes the following:
- Resuscitation
- Choking
- Unconsciousness
