Online Administration of Medicines to Children – MED01/04
Our online administration of medicines to children course is particularly suited for staff that are working in the childcare, education and early years’ sectors and similar environments in which staff may need to administer medicine. If staff are required to administer medicine to children or need to assist children to take their own medication then this course is ideally suited to their organisation.
This online course is live-streamed using ‘Zoom‘. It’s the same great training achieving high levels of interaction and is still being delivered by a knowledgeable and experienced trainer. Where required all course materials are provided in advance of training, all you need is access to the internet and a suitable device (computer, laptop, I-pad or similar) to join in.
“We are very happy with the service that Acorn provide. They are knowledgeable and very helpful especially when it comes to writing new policies or assisting in queries.”
Why do our customers choose us?
The number of children attending education settings with a variety of medicinal needs has increased over the years - leading to increased importance in arranging for training for staff. We understand that medication training does not only need to cater for the children that require medical assistance - this training also needs to take into consideration not only the needs of the child but also those of the staff team and others such as the LEA, OFSTED and Healthcare Professionals.
Although this course is delivered in an online capacity - we achieve the great levels of interaction that delegates expect during our training courses that are delivered in our premises or off-site. The different teaching methodologies employed, together with our knowledge and experience, and the opportunity for delegates to interact with each other / the trainer ensures that our online training is highly interactive and informative.
Our courses are delivered by Registered Nurses who hold adult teaching qualifications, supported by a professional qualification and considerable, hands-on practical experience which is reflected in our grounded, pragmatic approach.
We teach over 18,000 delegates a year offering training to individuals, groups and entire teams of staff. We are committed to providing excellent training delivered in a relaxed yet highly informative style.
